The replacement of HCFCs refrigerant is gradually in progress

In recent years, the production and consumption of HCFCs in China has grown rapidly, which has accelerated the destruction of the ozone layer. HCFCs are currently the main products used by all air-conditioning manufacturers to produce refrigerants. The complete elimination of HCFCs means that all air-conditioning companies in China must replace them with new ones. Air-conditioning refrigerant based on R22. However, there are differences of opinion in the industry on the specific choice of refrigerant as an alternative to environmentally friendly refrigerants in China's refrigeration industry.

         It is understood that some of the air-conditioning refrigerants currently used for export are required by the importing country, and HCFCs have been replaced with a substance code-named 410A. However, this substance is still a kind of greenhouse gas, which has failed to fundamentally solve the environmental protection problem. Manufacturers still cannot accept the practice of replacing HCFCs with R410A in a large area.

         Compressor company GMCC has launched its R32 environmentally friendly refrigerant air-conditioning compressor around the research and development of environmentally friendly refrigerants. At present, samples of this product have been sent to air-conditioning manufacturers for matching tests. It is similar to the previous R290 with high energy efficiency, extremely low greenhouse effect, and no ozone destruction.
