The cold chain logistics of agricultural products is an important development direction for the circulation of agricultural products. At present, my country's cold chain logistics has achieved considerable development and is facing huge development prospects. 1. The demand for cold chain logistics continues to grow. With the improvement of residents' consumption level and production progress, the circulation of fresh agricultural products is increasing year by year. Each year 400 million tons of fresh agricultural products enter the circulation link, and consumers pay more attention to freshness and food safety; Second, the development potential of the cold chain logistics industry is huge. The cold chain logistics of agricultural products in my country is still at a low-level development stage. There are more than 20,000 cold storage warehouses across the country, and the cold chain circulation rate is much lower than that of developed countries. In-depth research and development and promotion are needed. This shows that the cold chain logistics industry is an emerging industry with broad development potential. The government and enterprises are gradually increasing their attention. The "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Policies and Measures to Promote the Healthy Development of the Logistics Industry" issued this year, which is the National Method [2011] No. 38, proposes investment in cold chain logistics infrastructure for wigs and agricultural products. This year's executive meeting of the State Council has a special topic to study the construction of the circulation system of fresh and live agricultural products, and formulate specific policies and measures.

In 2012, news of the construction of new cold storage projects came from time to time.　High gross profit is the "incentive" of the current cold chain product development boom. Taking Guanghong Holdings as an example, the company’s annual report last year showed that the cold storage revenue during the reporting period was 52.461 million yuan, and the gross profit margin was as high as 55.47%, which was higher than the clothing, food and other industries the company was engaged in. Another listed company, Hanbell Precision Machinery, whose main business is refrigeration equipment, has an average growth rate of 26.2% in revenue in the last three years, and an average growth rate of 60% in profit.

Public information shows that since the beginning of this year, only 25 cold storage companies have started construction in Hainan Province, with a planned storage capacity of 35,000 tons.

At the same time, we also see that the development of the cold chain logistics industry is still facing outstanding problems.

1. The infrastructure is seriously inadequate. Refrigerated and insulated vehicles account for only 0.3% of freight vehicles. Existing freezing and cold storage facilities are generally outdated, with uneven regional distribution, and key logistics nodes such as regional agricultural product distribution centers lack adequate freezing and cold storage measures.

2. The promotion of cold chain technology lags behind. Processing methods such as sub-cold classification and packaging processing in low-temperature environments have not yet been popularized.

3. The development of third-party cold chain logistics enterprises is lagging behind. In the development process of agricultural cold chain logistics, the service system of cold chain logistics has not been fully established.

4. The cold chain logistics laws, regulations and standards are not sound. The legal and regulatory system for market behavior has not yet been established, and there is a lack of uniform standards for equipment and operating specifications, and it is difficult to achieve effective links to information resources.

To this end, the Ministry of Commerce will strengthen support for agricultural products in the following aspects: 1. Strengthen investment in facilities, and we will take agricultural cold chain logistics as the main direction of finance; 2. Establish fresh logistics distribution centers in large and medium-sized cities Establish a number of logistics distribution centers in the surrounding area, realize packaging integration, and invest in the construction of fresh logistics distribution centers; third, strengthen industrial pre-cooling, and greatly increase the storage capacity of cold storage, realize low temperature control from the source, reduce agricultural products loss, and realize the market and production area The efficient docking of cold chain logistics in the consumer market, while increasing the storage capacity of fresh agricultural products in the origin; 4. Encourage the development of third-party cold chain logistics enterprises, large-scale fresh agricultural products wholesale enterprises with advanced business concepts, management methods and strong core competitiveness, Carry out professional third-party delivery services; Fifth, standardize construction, integrate cold chain logistics information resources, realize cold chain logistics information sharing and interconnection, improve the level of cold chain logistics informatization, and speed up the formulation of agricultural cold chain logistics operating specifications and technical standards. The operating behavior of each link of cold chain logistics is to improve the market access system for the circulation of fresh agricultural products.

The cold chain logistics of agricultural products is facing huge development opportunities.
